Chuck My Talking Truck knows over 40 spoken phrases and sounds!View larger. | Your Own Personal Driving, Talking Truck Chuck My Talking Truck has plenty of things to say and places to go. His 40 plus phrases and sounds make each playtime a new adventure for your toddler. When your child calls Chuck from across the room the fun-loving dump truck starts up right up and chugs his way over to your child. His cartoonish features are silly, fun, and inviting, and with four different touch sensors he starts up easily for younger children still improving their eye-and-hand coordination. Though Chuck does come when called, be careful to use him away from the television or radio. His sensors may get confused with extra voices, causing him to keep driving when he hasn't been directly spoken to. Cartoonish Features and Interactive Play for Your Toddler Chuck My Talking Truck will keep your toddler guessing with talk, movement, and sounds. Toddlers can help load Chuck up with stuff to take to the "dump," and help him unload when they've made it across the room together. There are plenty of dump truck adventures to be had with Chuck's versatile actions and sounds. Chuck's body is also made of soft rubber that will not hurt toddlers in collisions. What's in the Box Truck, storybook, three "C" batteries.

I bought this truck for my 3 yr old boy and he absolutely went nuts over it. Chuck practically comes to life. My son couldn't stop laughing! Great toy for the money and seems to be solidly built. I highly recommend Chuck.

My son got this for his 2nd birthday and he loves it so far. He likes cars/trucks but really loves toys that make noise so this is a great toy for him. His 5 yr old brother likes it too and they keep fighting over it. I would totally recommend this for any boy aged 2-6.

I bought this toy for my grandson this coming Christmas. Although he hasn't seen it, yet, I know my rough-and-tumble boy is going to love it. Of course, I had to check it out! Typical of everything I've seen from Playskool, this truck is tough and is going to stand up to a lot of play. The voice is clear and easy to understand. The moment he speaks to it, and it drives, it will become an instant best friend and favorite playmate for this only child. The truck's soft nose means it won't wreck any furniture (or sleeping animals), and it's not obnoxiously loud like many toys. "Chuck the truck" would make a great toy for any active 2-4yr. old (and their grandpa!)
Falls short of expectations

We bought this truck for our 2 year old son. He likes cars and anything on wheels. He was excited to see Chuck initially, but lost interest after playing with the truck twice. Chuck talks, but the phrases are repetitive and only moves forward. The truck will come to you only if you are standing directly in front of the truck and the sensors for sound do not work very well. He lost interest quickly and feels it's overpriced for the value.
